The Reds have won the first three series against the Cubs this season, and are now trying to make it four in a row. After winning Monday's game handily, they fell 4-3 last night in extra innings. Sonny Gray will be starting for Cincinnati today, and Yu Darvish for Chicago. Despite the Reds record, Gray has managed to maintain an even .500 record at 5-5, and a 3.42 ERA. Darvish has not gotten a win in nearly three months, and has given up 20 home runs on the season, which ties for the second most in the majors. His main problem has been his control, which has led to him handing out walks left and right. However, he has settled into his former self as of late. His walk rate is way down, and he's giving up fewer and fewer hits. The Cubs lineup will be depleted today due to injuries, but even then, the Reds still don't quite matchup evenly.
