Golden Bears The California Golden Bears (8-22, 2-15 Pac-12) come into the game riding a six-game losing streak. If you have watched any college basketball this season, you know that California isn’t a good basketball team. Their eight wins haven’t come against anyone good and only have two conference wins. If there is a bright spot about the season, I’d have to go with that they probably aren’t cheating like other teams in the nation. Another bright spot would be the play of junior guard, Don Coleman. The kid came out of nowhere with his production this year. He is scoring 14.9 point per game, which is up ten from last season. Wildcats The Arizona Wildcats (23-7, 13-4 Pac-12) are coming off of a much need win against the Stanford Cardinal. ESPN recently dropped a bombshell on the Wildcats saying that Arizona’s freshman Deandre Ayton received $100,000 to play for them this season. Arizona, of course, is riding this as everything is fake and both Ayton and Miller are suiting up for upcoming games. Speaking of Ayton, He leads the Wildcats in scoring (19.7) and rebounding (11.1) and adds two blocks per game. He actually has a four-game double-double streak.

I’m not really buying that ESPN is a distraction to Sean Miller and Arizona. He has been doing this job for a while now and knows how to control outside circumstances. I also think there isn’t any question that the Wildcats win this game but 20.5 points is a lot. I like the Golden Bears to cover.
