This will be the second time this season these teams have met, with Texas having taken the first one 62-61 at TCU. TCU is coming off a big win over Kansas State that ended a six-game losing streak. However, Texas is in the midst of a four-game losing streak and is just 3-7 in their last ten games. The Longhorns could be very short-handed with three of their four top players listed as questionable for this one as Matt Coleman III and Jase Febres both listed as questionable. Meanwhile, Jericho Sims will not play with a back injury that could sideline him for the rest of the year.

TCU hopes to end February struggles

TCU is 1-5 SU in their last 6 games played in February. The Horned Frogs are just 2-8 in their last ten games and 1-6 away from home on the season, including 1-5 in conference play on the road. Desmond Bane has led TCU offensively and has been one of the best players in the Big 12 this year. He is averaging 16 points per game. Bane is shooting 42.8% from three on 6.4 attempts per game, both of which rank in the top five in the conference. The Horned Frogs heavily rely on their three-point shooting as they have the most makes per game as well as the most attempts from beyond the arc in the Big 12 this year.
