Florida State Seminoles vs. Boston College Eagles

Boston College Eagles (4-2) vs. Florida State Seminoles (2-2)

CFB: Friday, October 27th, 5:00 PM @ BC Alumni Stadium

Lines & Odds: Boston College +5.5 / Florida State -5.5 / O-U 47

So far this season, the Florida State Seminoles have wins over both Wake Forest and Duke, but have fallen to Alabama, Miami, Louisville, and NC State.  Quarterback James Blackman posted 248 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks in the team’s most recent loss to Louisville.  Blackman has totals of 1047 yards, seven touchdowns, and seven picks through six games this season.  Cam Akers leads the Seminoles with 87 carries for 454 yards, including one touchdown.  Receiver Auden Tate leads Florida State with 24 catches, 374 yards, and 5 touchdowns.

Boston College comes into Friday at .500 (4-4), with three of their last four games resulting in wins (vs. Central Michigan, Virginia, and Louisville).  Quarterback Anthony Brown posted 275 yards with three touchdowns in the last win against Virginia.  This year, Brown has accumulated 1284 yards, 10 touchdowns, and eight picks.  AJ Dillon leads the Eagles in rushing yards with 694, including six touchdowns and 152 carries.  Kobay White leads the team with 24 catches for 313 yards, including one touchdown.

Florida State’s offense has not been impressive this year, but they are still lingering as a fairly competitive team.  The Seminoles have kept the games close, losing by six or fewer in their last three contests, which is definitely something to consider.  However, Boston College has an impressive 86 combined points in their last two games alone.  Both offenses have been pretty good, but the Eagles seem to be soaring. First glance, I would of absolutely taken the home team plus the +3.5. But today alone the line has moved almost 3 entire points and this might have a Seminole romping all over it. Ride the Noles as they get back to their normal winning ways.
