UCF Knights (2-0) at North Carolina Tar Heels (0-2)
College Football: Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 12:00 pm (Kenan Stadium)
Line and Odds: North Carolina Tar Heels +14.5 — Over/Under: 59.5
The Tar Heels are still looking for their first victory in 2018 as they prepare to welcome the undefeated Central Florida Knights at Kenan Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The UCF Knights come into this game at 2-0 on the season thus far. UCF secured a win over UCONN in Week 1 56-17, then beat down South Carolina State 38-0 this past Saturday. Thats a combined total of 94-17. Quarterback McKenzie Milton struggled against South Carolina State last weekend. It hardly mattered. The Knights made up for Milton’s poor performance with a stellar running attack that saw three different players score touchdowns, including two by Adrian Killins Jr, who also led the way with 89 yards. UCF has a deep pool of running backs, all of whom have some special skill-set but similar traits. They do a great job of going north and south in a hurry.
Over on the North Carolina side, they’re 0-2 on the year. The Tar Heels fell in the opener to Cal 24-17, then posted another loss against East Carolina with a score of 41-19. There is a literal storm brewing (Hurricane Florence is on the way to the Carolinas) and there is also a figurative one being dealt with by North Carolina’s football program. The Tar Heels find themselves with a 3-11 record in their last 14 games dating back to last season. Freshman backup quarterback Cade Fortin made his debut against the Pirates, entering in the fourth quarter and going 3-for-6 with 15 yards. Fortin filled in for ineffective starter Nathan Elliott. North Carolina expects to start Cade this week, he showed that he can do some good things out there, which was promising for head coach Foedra.

UCF Knights vs UNC Tar Heels Free Expert Prediction
Central Florida’s rushing attack is nothing to play with. Keeping the ball on the ground will be the first order of business in what are expected to rough conditions due to the Hurricane, and Knights certainly won’t mind a steady percentage of running plays. North Carolina, meanwhile, is dealing with major quarterback issues, and plan on starting a freshman. with that being said, UCF is my pick.
