The Big 10 Title game will take place Saturday evening and we will see the Wisconsin Badgers duke it out with the Ohio State Buckeyes at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. These two teams met in Wisconsin last year and the Buckeyes won that game 30-23 in OT.
The Wisconsin Badgers have gone through the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record. If they win this game, they should secure themselves a spot in the National playoffs. They come off a convincing 31-0 win over Minnesota on the road and they have now outscored their last six opponents by 22.7 ppg. The offense is great, but their defense sure is. The Badgers defense is the best in the nation this year in terms of yards allowed and 2nd in points allowed, pretty impressive. Against Minnesota the stout defense only allowed just 133 yards of total offense, but they will be taking on a completely different and better offense in this one. This defense will definitely be tested. The offense is going to have to stop relying on the defense and start making some plays against this very good Ohio State defense. Wisconsin’s offense isn’t explosive, but they do take great care of the ball and just don’t make many mistakes. They piled up 456 yards against Minnesota, including 287 yards on the ground. Jonathan Taylor led the found attack with 149 yards and a TD. He is one of he best running backs in the nation as he has run for 1806 yards on the year, which is 3rd in the land, but he will be facing a defense that is 13th in the nation in stopping the run. Quarterback Alex Hornibrook may be asked to make some big plays in this game, especially if the Buckeyes slow down their run game which is their bread and butter.
The Ohio State Buckeyes have just two losses on the year, but both weren’t even close as they lost at home to Oklahoma by 15 and then, later on, lost at Iowa by 31. After that gut wrenching Iowa loss, it looked as if there was no way that Ohio State would have a shot at getting in the playoffs, but they could very well do so if they win this game. The Buckeyes are on a tear, since the Iowa loss, they have won their last three games consecutively and have outscored their opponents by 31.3 ppg. Ohio is coming off a 31-20 win over the Wolverines on the road, but it was not a easy as advertised, as they trailed the game 20-14 late in the 3rd quarter before scoring the final 17 points of the game to grasp the victory. Buckeyes offense has been top in the nation all year, but it did not play all that well in this one as they had just 350 yards of total offense in the win. J.T. Barrett was injured in the game, by a cameraman, but he should be ready for this one and they’re gonna need him badly. For the year J.T. has thrown for 2717 yards with 33 TDs versus seven INTs, while also rushing for 683 yards and nine TDs. This tough Badgers defense will have its hands full with him, especially if he is fully healthy. Buckeyes defense have now allowed just 198.3 ypg and 12.3 ppg over their last three games.

FREE College Prediction Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers
Can the Badgers get some love? Getting free points with an undefeated team is not common but everyone keeps trying to find holes in the Wisconsin Badgers because they don’t play sexy and have limited star power, but they win and cover games, and that’s all we care about in this line of work. We saw Ohio state struggle offensively last week against Michigan, and you should a lot more of that against this stingy Badger defense that’s allowed 17 or less points in eight straight games. The Buckeyes have a great chance to win this game, but still, if they do win it will be by a field goal or less. I will take the Badgers to win this game outright and finally get the respect they deserve.
