Free ESPN Premier League Picks Brighton vs Liverpool

It’s Matchday 22 in the Premier League this Saturday – as Brighton host league leaders Liverpool. Liverpool have a four-point lead at the top of the table. Brighton currently remain 13th in the league and are 10 points clear of relegation as of now. Klopp’s men would look to get back to winning ways after their defeat to Manchester City – who ended their unbeaten streak. Liverpool’s early exit from FA Cup means they only have 3 matches to play in January, beaten by Wolves – who just can’t stop winning against big clubs in England. The Reds went in with a weak team, prioritizing Premier League. Even If The Seagulls hold Liverpool for a Draw and City winning their encounter against Wolves at home which would mean only 2 points difference between the top two sides.

After three defeats in a row leading into Christmas. The Seagulls have been in good form recently, remaining unbeaten in their last four games in all competition. Albion’s secured a victory against Everton 1-0 at home and drew against Arsenal and West Ham – home and away respectively. They also beat Bournemouth 3-1 in FA Cup at the Vitality Stadium. Brighton’s ambitions of staying in the league seem to be work in progress. Chris Hughton’s side may be the underdogs heading into the game, but the Premier League is never short of upsets – especially considering Liverpool’s injury concerns. Brighton will go into the game with nothing to lose and in confidence after their recent results.

Liverpool only has Virgil Van Dirk available as a centre back for Saturday’s game. Though the club remains hopeful of Dejan Lovren recovering in time, who was injured playing against Wolves in FA Cup. Matip and Joe Gomez continue to recover, but all three are unlikely to play against Brighton and Hove Albion. If, Lovren doesn’t recover in time Klopp could add Fabinho as a centre back who performed well previously. As far as The Seagulls are concerned – Glenn Murray would be excited knowing Liverpool’s vulnerability at the back. The veteran is been in fine form this season, scoring 8 goals this season so far and extended his contract with Brighton earlier this season. Other noticeable positive for Hughton’s side is youngster Yves Bissouma, whose progress at the club seems to be improving, he also scored in their previous game against Bournemouth. Brighton’s defensive unit will face a stern challenge in front of them playing against a formidable attacking trio Salah, Mane and Firmino.

Free ESPN Premier League Picks Brighton vs Liverpool

This could be the decisive day in Premier League’s title race for this season. If Liverpool loses this game they might not win the premier league this season as well after spending so much. They are already out of EFL and FA Cup. On the other side, Brighton have momentum with them after recent results. A win here for Brighton Hove and Albion would take them to the first half of the table, which seemed unlikely at the start. Although the Seagulls have been good form moving forward in their recent fixtures and they might also trouble Liverpool’s defense who are lacking a key centre back. If Liverpool can somehow be stable at the back then they surely can take the advantage moving forward with the firepower they have nobody can stop them. This one seems to be a tight contest, but I would still expect Liverpool to overcome the hurdle.
