The Masters: Final Round Match-Ups Picks

The Masters

Augusta, GA

April 5-8, 2018

The Final Round of the Masters is today and your final chance to win some cash.

If you didn’t take our advice before the start of the tournament don’t fret, we have your Final Round match-up picks that are guaranteed to make you some money. If you took our advice for the second round, you’re probably not reading this because you’re rich. So be like the rich folks and take out advice.

Matt Kuchar 1.86 – Louis Oosthuizen 3.75

Kuchar = -1, T15

Oosthuizen = -3, T12

Pick: Oosthuizen is within striking distance of a high finish, but there is something about Matt Kuchar and final rounds at the Masters. Remember last year when he had a hole and one on 16? I’m not saying he does that again, but I like Kuchar to beat Oosthuizen by a stroke or two.

Dustin Johnson 1.80 – Justin Rose 2.00

Johnson = -4, 11th

Rose = -3, T12

Pick: This one is tough. Both players have played better it seems round by round. I think Johnson finds a way to take advantage with his length and tries to apply early pressure on the leaders. Take Johnson in this match-up.

Jordan Spieth 1.86 – Justin Thomas 1.95

Spieth = -5, T9

Thomas = -5, T9

Pick: This might be the most fun pairing to watch other than the obvious choice in Reed and McIlroy. They are great friends off the course and will help them play well today. Give me the Champ though, Spieth will start making putts and have a special Sunday.

Tommy Fleetwood 1.90 – Henrik Stenson 1.90

Fleetwood = -6, T6

Stenson = -7, 5th

Pick: Fleetwood tore the course up in the 3rd round firing a six under 66. He had five birdies in a row on the back nine. On the other hand, Stenson has been consistent all week long, and I think that continues today. Take Stenson in this matchup.

Rickie Fowler 1.90 – Jon Rahm 1.90

Fowler = -9, 3rd

Rahm = -8, 4th

Pick: This one seems so easy to me. Maybe I’m dumb, but I think Rahm blows up today with one little mistake. There is no doubt he is a great golfer, but he is still learning on how to deal with tough times. Look for Fowler to be aggressive, especially early.
