Early Odds for Major Winners

Early Odds for PGA Majors

It’s never too early to turn your attention to the big tournaments of the golf season. The Masters is a month away! Oh, Augusta how your beauty never lets me down. There is something about that magical place that grabs your thoughts and dreams for an entire year and memories are forever remembered year after year.

You can always place your bets for the Masters as well as Majors. Here are a few notables that you might want to place a bet on for Majors only.

Tiger Woods

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -900

1 = +500

2  = +5000

3 = +35000

4 =+40000

Tiger Woods is back folks! Tiger 3.0 is the Tiger of old, and he has shown it in recent events. He has played in four events so far and has posted T9, T23, and solo 12 finishes.

Is this the year that he wins are the Masters? Woods opened the year at 100-1 odds, and now with his recent play, he is 20-1. His record is indeed pretty impressive. He almost has a green jacket for each day of the week.

Dustin Johnson

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -225

1 = +200

2 = +1000

3 = +6600

4 = +20000

World No. 1 and he never looks like he is going to lose a tournament. I think the +200 is a pretty safe bet. I’m really excited to see if he can overpower Augusta.

Jason Day

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -800

1 = +400

2 = +4000

3 = +30000

4 = +50000

I’ll have to be honest, there have been so many times I’ve picked Jason Day at the Masters because he has the game to do it. He is long off the tee, has a good short game, and he continues to prove he can make long putts. He has to win at some point, right?

Justin Thomas

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -1200

1 = +500

2 = +4000

3 = +25000

4 = +50000

JT is dangerous. At any given tournament he can go off. He has the game to play at any course, and he has proved that. Already hot with a win this season at The Honda Classic. +500 or +4000 doesn’t look that bad.

Jon Rahm

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -800

1 = +400

2 = +4000

3 = +30000

4 = +50000

It’s only a matter of time that Rahm wins a major. If he would just calm down when things don’t go his way he might already have one or two. I take Rahm at +400 any day of the week.

Jordan Spieth

Total Majors in 2018

0 = -225

1 = +200

2 = +1100

3 = +8000

4 = +35000

Struggling a bit this year, Spieth has the game to go off at any moment. Especially at Augusta, but I don’t want to make this all about the Masters. He did win the Open last year.

Tony Finau

To Win a Major in 2018

1 +1000

Moving on to the odds of just winning one major. If you have money to blow, Finau wouldn’t be a bad player to throw it on. Find the major where putting is the least important and throw some cash at him.

Matt Kuchar

To Win a Major in 2018

1 +1200

If you want a chance at a win, then throw some money at Kuchar +1200. The guys lived in the top 10 last season. His finishes were T4, T16, 2, T9. The solo second came to the hands of Jordan Spieth at the Open.

Tommy Fleetwood

To Win a Major in 2018

1 +750

Fleetwood has to win a major at some point in his career. At least you would think. At +750, it would still be a decent playout if you decide to bet on Fleetwood.

I was born in Knoxville, TN and have been here my entire life. Huge Tennessee Vols and Preds fan! I try to play golf. I was a Road to Glory Phenom on NCAA 11 and enjoy wasting my money on DraftKings. Oh, and I like White Christmas Tree Cakes. Go Vols!
