Major League Baseball Daily FanDuel Lineup Advice for 06-11-2018

Today is Monday June 11th and here are a few players to consider picking up for your Daily FanDuel lineups.

1.) Madison Bumgarner

Team: San Francisco Giants

Position: Starting Pitcher

Opponent: Miami Marlins

Madison Bumgarner has only recently come off the DL after recovering from an injury before the season started. In his first start this year, he managed to throw a quality start by only allowing 2 earned runs in the 6 innings he pitched. He allowed 8 hits and only struck out 2, but he was facing the Diamondbacks who are a very solid team. Tonight he will be matched up against the Marlins, who as we know are not a team with much success this year. Look for Bumgarner to get back to to normal self with a stellar outing tonight.

2.) Paul Goldschmidt

Team: Arizona Diamondbacks

Position: First Base

Opponent: Pittsburgh Pirates

Goldschmidt has been absolutely killing the ball as of recently. Just in his last 3 games he has homered 4 times and has started to turn things around at the plate. He is batting .254 on the season, but in the last 7 days he is batting 16 for 25 (.640). Look for him to continue his success tonight against Pittsburgh.

3.) Francisco Lindor

Team: Cleveland Indians

Position: Shortstop

Opponent: Chicago White Sox

Lindor is hitting a solid .291 on the year, however he has struggled some recently. One good sign is Cleveland will be playing the White Sox today and Lindor is hitting 5 for 9 (.556) against them this year. This is a bit of a risky pick, but with Lindor’s success against the White Sox it will allow him the opportunity to break out of his slump.

4.) Mike Trout

Team: Los Angeles Angels

Position: Center Field

Opponent: Seattle Mariners

Mike Trout again is showing the world why he is one of if not the best player in the majors. He is batting .299 on the season with 19 home runs and 39 RBI’s. Trout is struggling at the moment, only hitting safely in 5 of this last 23 at bats (.217), but against Seattle he has done very well. In his 14 at bats against the Mariners this season, Trout is 9 for 14 (.643) with 1 home run. This is a great time for Trout to break out of his slump and start hitting again.

5.) JD Martinez

Team: Boston Red Sox

Position: Right Field/Designated Hitter

Opponent: Baltimore Orioles

JD Martinez is another player who has stepped his game up this season. He has 21 home runs, with 4 of these homers coming against Baltimore. Overall he is batting .316 and with a pitcher who is shaky at times for the Orioles, Martinez has a good chance to continue his great hitting.
