Free MLB Pick World Series Game 7

As a baseball fan could you ask for anymore then a World Series Game 7 against the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians?  Wednesday night at 8PM on Fox will decide who ends their drought and becomes the new champion!  The Chicago Cubs can finally achieve their third world series and end the longest drought in all of sports of 108 years since they last deemed themselves champions. After a tremendously slow start to the cubs offense in the first four games of the World Series, the cubbies have woken up.  When the pressure is off the young talent of the Chicago Cubs start free swinging which ultimately leads to them playing their best baseball.  When their offense puts up more than three runs per game they have been 17-4 in their past 21 games. Heading into tonights World Series Game 7 these Chicago Cubs have to be the more confident team when the first pitch is thrown from where they were when they were trailing the series 3-1.  More importantly, their pitching has been getting the proper rest, so starter Kyle Hendricks should be in his normal routine and ready to pitch game 7 of the World Series Tonight.  Over the course of the season, Hendricks has been 16-8 with an awesome 2.18 ERA with 170 strikeouts and his postseason numbers mirror these stats!  The big question you have to answer about Hendricks is can he handle the moment?  The last five road starts for him have been 5-0 and a whopping 16-7 the last 23 starts.

On the other end of the spectrum is the Cleveland Indians and their are up to win their first World Series since the 1948 baseball season.  Unlike the Chicago Cubs, the Cleveland Indians have been back to the World Series twice, once to the Atlanta Braves and the other to the once Florida Marlins (now Miami Marlins), both times coming up short.  The Cleveland Indians once had a strong hold on this World Series with a commanding lead, but their weaker pitching staff of Trevor Bauer and Josh Tomlin have let them down.  However, tonight the tribe turn to their ace, Corey Kluber who can take home the World Series MVP. He has been the Indians ace for the entire year with a record of 18-9 and 3.14 ERA throughout the season.  However, more impressively 4-1 with a .089 ERA in the playoffs!  Kluber posts a 20-6 record in his last 26 home games. In addition, the entire bullpen of the Cleveland Indians are ready to throw tonight and fully expect to see a lot of Andrew Miller and Bryan Shaw.  Their bats have certainly gone a bit quiet as well, but their two big stars Jason Kipnis and Francisco Lindor have been excelling combining for 31 hits and 14 RBI’s.  Although the Indians feel like they have let things slip away, history absolutely favors the home team in game 7.

This has to be one of the most even World Series Game 7 since the longest I can remember.  When it comes to the World Series history the home team has won the past 9 of 10 game sevens, so it’s hard to ignore that trend.  Kluber has been nothing short of amazing by only allowing 7 runs in over 40 innings of work!  However, I believe the free swinging bats of the Cubbies will prevail. This team has continually found its groove when it’s back are against the wall throughout the playoffs. I see the longest drought in sports history coming to an end tonight. The Chicago Cubs will prevail and become World Series Champions. Thanks for following along and we look forward to a fantastic 2017 Baseball season at CTS365.
