FREE MLB Pick St.Louis Cardinals vs. Minnesota Twins
The St.Louis Cardinals look for redemption after a 4-1 loss last night against the Minnesota Twins. After losing three straight St.Louis is only a game and a half back from the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NL Central. St.Louis needs more production from their top players such as Dexter Flower, Matt Carpenter, and Kolten Wong all batting under .200. St.Louis is 25th in the MLB in runs scored with a total of 163. Pitcher Miles Mikolas (5-0, 2.51 ERA) will put his undefeated record on the line Wednesday afternoon. After coming over from the Yomiuri Giants in the Japan Central League, Miles Mikolas has been on a straight tear. His K:BB stands at 35:3, a stats that shows why the strong right- hander is the real deal. While the team is struggling at the plate, Tommy Pham leads the team with a .319 batting average and has not produced a hit in three straight games.
After Tuesday nights victory, the Minnesota Twins are feeling good after eliminating their two game losing skid. After losing 4 straight starts, pitcher Jose Berrios came alive by producing ten strike outs while holding St.Louis to one run in 7 1/3 innings. Minnesota is only a game back of the Cleveland Indians in the AL Central. With a win tomorrow afternoon Minnesota could leap Cleveland and take over sole possession in the standings. Minnesota’s bats are going to have to wake up against a tough pitching St.Louis team. Gregorio Petit is going to have to continue to produce for Minnesota as he is batting a .429 this season with six hits in six games played. Right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn (1-3, 7.34 ERA) will have a chance to take down his former team, as he had a 3.38 ERA in six seasons with St.Louis. Lynn is going to have to prove why he was a first round pick back in 2008 tomorrow if Minnesota wants a chance to stay undefeated against St.Louis this season.

FREE MLB PREDICTION MINNESOTA TWINS VS ST.LOUIS CARDINALS
Both teams are at the bottom of the league in runs scored and batting average on the season. St.Louis and Minnesota have combined for twelve runs in their past three games. Minnesota has been out with one of their best hitters in Miguel Sano since late April with a hamstring strain. Miles Mikolas will put up a great pitching effort for St.Louis like he always does. While on the other side Lance Lynn will have a strong performance against his former club. Look for this to be a low scoring game with both pitchers having something to prove.
