The Golden State Warriors come into game four with the opportunity to close out the finals and win their second straight title. After a scary game one, they blew out the Cavs in game two and came from behind to take a commanding lead in game three. Kevin Durant led the team with 43 points in Wednesday’s game which was the main reason the Warriors sit on a 3-0 lead. Other than Durant the Warriors struggled from the field. Stephen Curry for example had only 11 points on 3 of 16 shooting and 1 of 10 shooting from three point range. While Durant could have a similar performance in game four, it is crucial Curry and Thompson have bounce back games. If Curry can play his normal game the Warriors will finish off the Cavaliers in a sweep.

The Cleveland Cavaliers blew a halftime lead in game three and now face a huge uphill battle. Considering no team in NBA history has come back from a 3-0 deficit, the odds are not in Cleveland’s favor to pull of a miracle. Tonight LeBron James is going to need to have yet another huge game to give his team any chance. He will likely need another 50+ point game in order for the Cavs to pull this one out. Another key to the Cavs winning is someone other than LeBron is going to have to step up. In game three, Kevin Love put up 20 points, but that still was not enough to put away the Warriors. For the Cavs to win they will need two other players besides LeBron to have a 20 point game. Otherwise the Warriors will win the NBA Finals on the home court of Cleveland.

(3-1) ATS in their last four home games

Golden State Warriors

(3-2) SU in their last five away games

(3-2) ATS in their last five away games

Not many people thought the Cavaliers would be in this finals given their struggles this season and lack of bench production at times. LeBron has carried them all the way to the biggest stage, but they just seemed to be overpowered and out-maned. Having said this the Warriors will give Cleveland no chance of a comeback and will close things out in this one sided series.
