The Denver Nuggets have won their last seven games and currently are sit first in the western conference. The Nuggets have drastically improved their defense from last season with only allowing 103.4 points per game which is 3rd in the league. Denver is 7-3 against the east and is 4-1 and has been led by Jamal Murray who has averaged 19.9 points and 5.6 assists against the east. Denver will be missing Gary Harris who is listed as day-to-day with a hip injury and has already missed their last game against the Magic and could be replaced by Torrey Craig as he was the chosen replacement in the starting lineup Wednesday. Harris has been one of the best players for the Nuggets leading the team in scoring with 17.3 points a game.

The Charlotte Hornets have been led by Kemba Walker who has had an excellent start to the year scoring 26.0 points per game and 6.1 assists a game and is third in offensive plus/minus. The Hornets have yet to win a game against western conference opposition going 0-5 including 0-3 at home and are shooting just 28.6% of their 3-point attempts against the west. Walker has struggled especially against the west shooting just 17% from three in those five games and is scoring just 19 points in 33 minutes. Charlotte could be without Marvin Williams with a right shoulder sprain and missed Wednesday night’s game against Minnesota and would be replaced by Michael Kidd-Gilchrist if he is not able to play as it is believed Williams could be out for a week. Charlotte has also been careful with the ball as they currently have the lowest turnover-rate in the league.

Free NBA Prediction Denver Nuggets vs. Charlotte Hornets

This game should be interesting with the Nuggets being on the fourth game of a five-game road trip and looking to extend their seven-game win streak. The Hornets are trying to make the playoffs as they sit 8th in the east and will need to pick up their rebounding as they are ranked 21st in rebounds per game. The Nuggets have struggled a bit more on the road only scoring 107.5 points and is only shooting 45.4% on the road as opposed to 48.1% at home. Nikola Jokic has been one of the best players in the NBA averaging 16.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.5 assists in addition to being the most efficient player on the team. He should have a big game with the Hornets not having a good matchup against him as the Hornets lack a true interior presence to slow him down. Although Denver is on the east coast road trip their winning streak won’t end on Friday night as the Hornets will struggle to score against the Nuggets.

He said prior to the #Nuggets game vs. Portland on Feb. 4 he was told he was not going to play to not risk him being injured in case he was traded. Juancho said, no, he wanted to play and convinced coach Michael Malone and execs to let him.

Malik Beasley and Juancho Hernangomez spoke with media today in advance of tomorrow’s #Nuggets-Wolves game, and one thing Juancho mentioned really stood out...
