The NBA Finals will switch scenes from the West Coast to the shores of Lake Erie. Golden State will try to take a commanding 3-0 lead and Cleveland will do anything for that not to occur.

Warriors Seek 3-0

The Warriors started off Game 2 scorching from the field, took a couple blows from the Cavaliers, and then coasted in the fourth quarter for an overwhelming victory. Instead of letting off the gas in the final quarter, Golden State kicked into 5th gear and demolished the Cavaliers in a barrage of circus style three point shots. The Warriors, having won the first two games of the Finals at home, now travel to Cleveland looking to put the nail in the coffin and take a demanding 3-0 series advantage. That is a dark place no team in NBA history has ever dug themselves out of: Can the Warriors take advantage and put themselves one win away from a third ring in four years? Golden State is shooting 47.9 percent from the floor in the postseason as a team this season. The Warriors are making 11 three pointers a game regardless of the fact that they’re only shooting at a 35 percent efficiency. Stephen Curry led the troops with 33 points, seven boards, and eight assist in a epic showing. Kevin Durant silently dropped 26 points, at a whopping 72 percent. JaVale McGee had 12 points in his most prominent action since the postseason has started. Andre Iguodala is expected back in Game 3.

Cavaliers Seeking Hope

Cleveland, after missing a golden ticket to win Game 1, or getting shafted, however way you look at it, will make a valiant effort to win Game 3 back at home. The Cavaliers trail 2-0 and know they can’t afford to be down 3-0 to this juggernaut Warriors squad. The Cavaliers were within four after the opening quarter but trailed by 13 at the break, and 10 after three quarters. Cavs got it down to seven with the first bucket of the second half, but that was the closest they ever got. Cleveland had no answer in the final quarter with the massive offensive firepower of the Warriors. Can Cleveland overcome the odds and come up with a basically do-or-die victory at home? The Cavaliers are shooting 43 percent from the floor as a unit, but perimeter shooting has been the real issue. Cleveland is making 10 three pointers a game on a sub par 33 percent rate. Cleveland has been great from the line connecting on 20 of 26 free throws. The Cavs were very lax on defense and rebounding in Game 2. LeBron James led the way as usual with 29 points, nine boards and 13 assist in the losing effort. Kevin Love helped out with 22 points and nine boards.

FREE NBA Prediction Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors

The Cavaliers have hit a fork in the road here and they know it. A victory here makes a 2-1 series and actually gives them a fighting chance to tie this series up. A loss puts them in the deepest of all holes, one which no NBA team has climbed out of. Don’t expect a one-sided contest in this one, but it’s very hard to doubt King James in his own castle, where the Cavs have won eight strait. Take the moneyline here for the extra sauce, spread is not going to make a difference in this one.

Perhaps the best situational handicapper on the east coast! Typically, you will find him being a contrarian on very specific details, and it always seems to pay off at the right time.
