The Golden State Warriors may be gaining reinforcements with a potential return of Andre Iguodola who has missed every game this series and has been upgraded to questionable with all signs saying this could be his return game. Stephen Curry will be entering Game 3 coming off of an NBA finals record 9 3-point FGM and looks finally at full strength and back to full conditioning after his knee injury leading into the playoffs. In Game 3 Golden State could still make a couple of adjustments for example the Warriors could try yet another center although JaVale McGee went 5-for-5 he had a 0 +/- and did struggle on defense at times in Game 2. The Warriors could go with either Kevon Looney or rookie Jordan Bell who looked like more effective options. Golden State could see Jordan Bell’s minutes’ rise as it looks as if he and Steph Curry have developed some chemistry together especially if Iguodala suffers a setback and can’t go.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled from beyond the arc this series going just 19-for-43 and looking to be returning home at just the right time as they look to keep their hopes of becoming NBA champions alive. The Cavaliers will look to get Rodney Hood some minutes that aren’t garbage time for the first time this series. He could be taking the minutes of Jordan Clarkson who hasn’t been good this series going 1-4 for 2 points in 9 minutes of play and is shooting 28.6% in the finals and conference finals on 56 FGA. J.R. Smith needs to get going after his five-point outing in Game 2 after his disastrous Game 1 performance. The Cavaliers will be happy to return home with their 3-point field goal percentage going up 6% from 31% on the road and 37% at home. Their net efficiency also swings up a lot with a -7.2 on the road and a +8 at home.

Free NBA Prediction Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland will be happy for the friendly confines of Quicken Loans Arena as they’re 8-1 in their home building and carries a 111.7 offensive efficiency with them. Cleveland could be changing their strategy of switching all pick and rolls and you could instead see them start to blitz them instead. This could see an increase of off the ball movement and potentially isolations although that didn’t work well against Houston. The Cavs should be making more 3’s and the Warriors are in rhythm and the over is big but this game could get into a back and forth game if the referees let them play. The refs did call 25 fouls on Golden State and this could also play a part if they choose to call it tighter with the change of venue. The over is the play with the Cavs not having a great defensive identity they will have to outscore the Warriors and the way they are clicking that could take a lot of points.
