So far in the first 3 games of the series, it’s been fun. For the first time in forever, the Warriors are actually the team that is having to deal with injuries to key players and because of that, they’ve been struggling mightily. Kevin Durant has already been ruled out for game 4 but Klay Thompson is probable to play tonight after missing game 3 with a sore hamstring. Curry really showed the world why hes one of the best players in the NBA by putting on a tremendous performance in game 3 when he dropped 47 points on 14-31 shooting. He played 43 minutes as well but his heroic efforts weren’t enough to beat the visiting Raptors since everyone in Toronto’s starting 5 scored 17+ points each. As I said earlier, Thompson will more than likely be back tonight for game 4 so that’ll alleviate some of the pressure that’s on Curry at the moment. Plus, it gives them another excellent defender to stop (slow down) Kawhi. Game 4 will be tonight at Oracle so if they can extend the series to at least 6-7 games after tonight, they have a chance of having Durant in their starting 5 in the later games. Tonight is going to be a very fun game.

Toronto is really showing up right now and by Toronto, I mean Kyle Lowry, Danny Green and Serge Ibaka. Oh, don’t forget Fred VanGOAT. Jokes aside, these men have really showed Golden State they are not joking around and are giving them the toughest of times. Ibaka went for an insane 6 blocks last game while Danny Green knocked down 6 triples. VanVleet has really put the clamps on Curry this series and even though last game happened, he’s still doing an admirable job. Green has hit 42.9%, 44.4%, and 60% (!!) of his 3’s in the first three games this series.

Kyle Lowry is not known to be a playoff player but watching him play against the Warriors, it just looks like he’s been in the finals multiple times before based off of his demeanor and his play. He’s hitting Curry-esque range shots while pretty much out-hustling everyone else on the court (watch him jump in the stands in game 3 while going for a loose ball, fun times.) Along with these x-factors, Pascal, Kawhi, and Gasol are just doing a sensational job, both on defense and offense. If they can take game 3 at Oracle, they’ve got to love their chances of sealing the series back in Jurassic Park.

This is a must win for the Warriors and even though the Warriors will be without Kevon Looney and Kevin Durant, see the Warriors winning a close game. The Raptors will come out guns blazing and even though Thompson will be back, I like Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard’s chances of blowing up. Look out for Serge Ibaka also. The mans a freak and will probably have a big game off the bench for this squad.

PICK: Raptors +5.5
