Fanduel NBA Playoffs Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz
The Houston Rockets will play their first road game of the postseason when they face the Utah Jazz in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs. Game 3 is often the swing game in the series and it is a must win for the Jazz after dropping the first two games against the Rockets. The Jazz haven’t been competitive in the series losing two games by a combined total of 52 points. If the Jazz want to remain competitive in Game 3 they’ll have to play better on both ends.
To beat the Rockets they’ll have to get to about 115-120 points. In their two previous games they have failed to score 100 in both contests. The Rockets are really playing well on both ends and James Harden looks on a mission to dominate every game. Harden is unstoppable and the system the Rockets run pretty much puts the ball in Harden’s hands in isolation on most of their half court sets. This puts the defense in a precarious position as the floor is spread with three point shooters that can’t be helped off of in players like Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, PJ Tucker and Danuel House Jr. Their role players are hitting threes and when that is happening it makes the Rockets nearly unbeatable. The constant lob threats of Clint Capela and Kenneth Faried give Harden a great option to pass to when he gets into the paint. His step back three has also been working to make matters worse for the Jazz.

Draftking NBA Playoffs Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz
The Jazz defense has been unable to stifle the Rockets’ rhythm and three point attempts. Donovan Mitchell has not played well enough, averaging only 15 points in the first two games. The Jazz are a slower paced team and will need to keep the game at their tempo to lessen the Rockets’ possessions. Rudy Gobert has failed to make a huge impact defensively, averaging only 0.5 blocks and grabbing 6.5 defensive rebounds. The Jazz have the home court advantage, but their offense will need to come to life to avoid going down 0-3 in the series.
