Odds: Indiana Pacers -2 (GTbets)

On Monday night, the (25-33) San Antonio Spurs are set to host the visiting Indiana Pacers (36-24). This will be the first matchup between the two teams since November of 2018 which saw the Spurs take home a (111-100) victory.

Both of these teams are going into tonight's matchup rested and coming off solid winning performances in their last bouts. The Spurs took down the visiting magic on Saturday in a nail-biting (114-113) home victory, as the Pacers routed the Cavaliers (113-104).

In their last 10 games, the Pacers are an equal (5-5) but winners of three straight. On the other side of the ball, the Spurs are just (3-7) over their last 10 and must keep the momentum going tonight if they have any hopes of making a playoff run.

The Spurs are just three games behind Memphis for the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference. Keeping consistent momentum has been an issue for the Alamo City team, and playing to a (15-13) home record isn't helping the cause. The Spurs will also be without LaMarcus Aldridge for a second consecutive night due to a right shoulder strain.

The Pacers on the other hand have been a bit of a surprise this year as they sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings with an impressive (36-24) record. The team has won five of its past six following a season high six game losing streak and just a game back of fifth-place 76ers. As Victor Oladipo gets stronger and stronger, look for this team to be a tough out in the playoffs.
