The Los Angeles Lakers were able to beat the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, winning 118-109. LeBron James earned an astounding 40 points on the night. Anthony Davis was able to earn another double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Only 2 other players on the team earned more than 9 points on the night, and only 4 players earned more than 4 points.
The Golden State Warriors were obliterated by the Kings, losing 94-112. Marquese Chriss earned a double-double on the night with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Warrior aren’t going to win many games this season period, but they really aren’t going to win any games when they shoot 4/28 from the 3-point line.
The Lakers may be down a King, but they still will have no problem with the Warriors. They still lead the league in field goal percentage and blocks and rank in the top 10 for most of the major category. They’re better than the Warriors in almost every way. This should be an easy win for the Lakers.
Poor Golden State Warriors. To go from making the NBA Finals 5 years in a row to collapsing from injuries and having the worst record in the NBA is just heartbreaking if you’re a Warriors fan. The only positive thing that I could say about the Warriors is that they are ranked higher in turnovers per game than the Lakers, 17th compared to 22nd. Other than that, I guarantee the Warriors just want to hurry up to the end of the season.
LA Lakers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.
The total has gone OVER in 13 of LA Lakers’ last 19 games.
LA Lakers are 6-0 SU in their last 6 games.
Golden State are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games.
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Golden State’s last 5 games.
Golden State are 0-7 SU in their last 7 games.
Let’s be honest here, you already knew who would win this game, you’re just curious if the Lakers would beat the Warriors by 20 or not. The answer is yes, the Lakers will obliterate the Warriors tonight. It doesn’t matter that King James isn’t playing tonight, the Lakers still have AD and are still the 2nd best team in the NBA. The Warriors still don’t have Steph back and are the worst team in the NBA. Enough said.
