Memphis Grizzlies (2-1) at Orlando Magic (1-2)

NBA Preseason: Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:00 pm (Amway Center)

Line and Odds: Memphis Grizzlies +3 – Orlando Magic -3

O/U: 210

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to keep their win streak alive as they go on the road to face the Orlando Magic.

The Memphis Grizzlies have had back to back wins after losing their first NBA preseason game. They beat the Indiana Pacers in a thriller in overtime 109-104. The Memphis Grizzlies were led, by Jaren Jackson scoring 18 points, followed by Wayne Selden Jr. scoring 16. Garrett Temple and Yuta Watanabe both had 11 points against the Pacers. The Grizzlies were 41.3% from field goal and 21.9% from three point range. The Memphis Grizzlies are averaging around 114.7 points per game. That is based on 45% shooting on the field and they are averaging 30.1% from three point range. The Grizzlies against the Pacers had 43 rebounds, 25 assists, and 30 personal fouls. The Grizzlies will have to play good offensively to take the advantage against a struggling Orlando Magic.

The Orlando Magic will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Miami Heat 90-89 on Monday. They will be playing at home and will need to be better offensively as they were only able to shoot 89 points against the Heat. The Orlando Magic will be facing a Memphis Grizzlies team that is averaging 114.7 points in just their 3 NBA preseason games played. The Orlando Magic will need to count on Nikola Vucevic that scored 22 points and had 14 rebounds against the Heat and Jerian Grant who scored 17 points to beat the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Magics offense will need to knock down all the points they are able to make to keep this game close. Their offense were 37.8% from field goal and only 26.9% from the long balls against the Miami Heat. Defensively they had 47 rebounds, 18 assists, and 24 personal fouls. The Orlando Magic is averaging 101.5 points on 43.6% of shooting and 34% from three point range. On the bright side for the Orlando Magic is that Jonathan Issac will return tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies and will look to be in sync with Mohamed Bamba to force Jaren Jackson Jr. from the Memphis Grizzlies to pass the ball more and shoot less.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic both are looking to get a win tonight to improve their NBA preseason record. The Memphis Grizzlies, led by Jaren Jackson Jr., Wayne Selden Jr., Garrett Temple, and Yuta Watanabe are looking fierce this NBA preseason and have been playing amazing offensively. The Orlando Magic have Nikola Vucevic, Jerian Grant, and Aaron Gordon that are leading their team this NBA preseason. The Memphis Grizzlies will try to win back to back games again tonight while playing on the road.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic are looking for their second win this preseason and have the advantage since they will be playing in their home stadium. This game will be entertaining to watch as Jonathan Issac is returning to tonight’s game and will be trying to make an impact for his team. However, I think that the Memphis Grizzlies have a better team right now. The Orlando Magic will need to play amazing tonight offensively to win the Memphis Grizzlies. Therefore, I think that the Memphis Grizzlies will win tonight’s game on the road and go (3-1) this preseason.

Pick: Memphis Grizzles +3
