This is the match-up we’ve all been waiting for. Both teams are stacked with talent and just pure skill. Both teams were some of the best defensive teams in the league this year and their offenses are both stellar, as well. Giannis is having an amazing playoff run this year, averaging a career high 27.4 points and 11.4 rebounds a game. He’s also averaging 4.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per game for good measure. He’s doing this in only 31.4 minutes a game which is actually unbelievable. Not only did Giannis have a great series against the Celtics, but Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton were also phenomenal in which they limited Kyrie Irving to 8-22, 7-22, and 6-21 shooting in the final 3 games of the series.

Middleton is averaging 19.1 points on a tidy 53% eFG, 5.8 rebounds and 6 assists a game. Bledsoe is also pulling his weight with 16 points on a 53% eFG, 3.3 boards, 4.3 assists and 1.2 steals a game. Don’t forget, he can block shots too as he’s averaging 0.7 a game at the point guard position. This team is locked and loaded in every aspect of the game and since they got Malcolm Brogdan back, that’ll only make them that much more dangerous. We just need Brook Lopez (8.3 points on 42% from the field) to step up and this team is virtually unstoppable.

The Raptors haven’t had as much success in the playoffs in terms of destroying teams left and right like the Bucks (they’ve only played 9 games in the playoffs this year including one sweep) but Kawhi is a reason this team made the conference finals. Kawhi is averaging 31.8/8.5/3.6/1.3 on an amazing 60% eFG. In other words, the guy refuses to miss shots, including the game winner in game 7 against Philly. I guess this is what happens when he actually wants to play for a team. Jokes aside, this team also looks pretty good despite the shooting struggles of Kyle Lowry (12.4 points on 41% from the field), obviously.

Gasol hasn’t been asked to do too much like his Memphis days, but he has been holding his own defensively. He’s only averaging 8.6 points (playoff career-low), 5.5 boards (playoff career-low) and 2.9 assists a game this year, but he’s also averaging 1.3 steals and a block a game. Pascal is averaging 20.87.3/2.5/1.3/0.6 this year in the playoffs, all career-highs by a mile. Pascal and Kawhi continue to be a dynamic duo and they’ll hope to continue their magical playoff run against Giannis and co.

I feel like the Bucks will take game 1 since they’ll be at home and they’ve had plenty of time to rest. Plus, Giannis’ ankle will be much better by today and Brogdan is getting back in the swing of things so things are looking up for the Bucks. I don’t really think it’ll be a blowout but I do think the Bucks will go bonkers in the fourth quarter in order to win this game. Expect a huge game from Middleton and Bledsoe. Maybe Brook will have his shot going for him this series as I believe he will be the X-factor for the Bucks along with Bogdan.
