Memphis finally won a game after an 11 game losing streak. The Grizzlies got a home victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 95-92. Marc Gasol led the way for Memphis as he put up 21 points seven rebounds and five assists. The Grizzlies got their first win since a 98-97 road win in Portland on November 7th. It was also their first win since firing former head coach David Fizdale for interim coach J.B Bickerstaff. The Grizzlies are now 8-15 on the season, and their hot start to the year looks like it happened several seasons ago. They’re 3-7 on the road. They’re eight in the Western Conference but just 3 and a half games behind the eight seed New Orleans Pelicans. If Kristaps Porzingis doesn’t play tonight, Marc Gasol should have another big game for the Grizzlies as they try to get another win and turn their season back around.

The Knicks are coming off a huge loss to the Indiana Pacers. After a frisky start to the season, the Knicks have fallen off, the injury to Kristaps Porzingis has obviously hurt the team. Reports say that Porzingis will be back for the Knicks tonight. If that’s the case, it’ll be a huge boost for the Knicks who are looking to get back on the winning side after back to back losses. On the season, the Knicks are 10-5 at home, one of the league’s best marks. The Knicks are ninth in the Eastern Conference, just one and a half games behind the Indiana Pacers. If they look to get back in the playoff hunt, the Knicks should take advantage of tonight’s matchup against the Grizzlies.

Free NBA Prediction: New York Knicks vs Memphis Grizzlies

The Knicks have been a different team at home this season, they’re boasting a record of 10-5 at home, the fourth best home record in the Eastern Conference. The Grizzlies finally won a game, but they’re still without their starting point guard Mike Conley. Even though Porzingis is returning, he shouldn’t be one hundred percent just yet, which could have an impact on how much he contributes to the team. Still, his presence alone provides energy to the fans and the rest of the roster. I like the Knicks to win and cover at home.
