Free ESPN NBA Picks Utah Jazz Vs Orlando Magic
On Wednesday night the Orlando Magic hit the road to take on the Utah Jazz at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Utah’s next four games are at home after having a league-high 25 road games during the first half of the season. Coming off a 114-102 road loss to NBA’s best Milwaukee Bucks the Jazz should be looking to get back to .500. Against the Bucks the Jazz had a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but Utah posted just 16 points in the fourth to give Milwaukee the 12-point victory. 22 year old Donovan Mitchell had a team high 26 points, Rudy Gobert finished with 14 points and 15 rebounds and Jae Crowder came off the bench and put up 12 points, five rebounds and three assists.
On the season Utah is averaging 107.9 points on 46.3 percent shooting and allowing 105.9 points on 46.2 percent shooting. led by second year pro out of Louisville Donovan Mitchell who is averaging 20.4 points, 3.6 boards and 3.4 assists per game. Reigning defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert is still the big man in charge for the Jazz averaging 14.8 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. Ricky Rubio contributing 12.8 points and a team high 6.2 assist per game, but Rubio is expected to be sidelined for a couple weeks after injuring his hamstring against the Bucks on Monday.
Meanwhile, The Magic have been in a real slump losing eight of their last 11 and they will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after falling to the Kings in a 111-95 road loss on Monday. Against the Kings the Magic came out ready to play but after the first quarter the Magic seemed to disappear posting a 17-29 second quarter and a 20-32 third quarter making it nearly impossible for a comeback. Terrence Ross came off the bench and had a team high 20 points, Nikola Vucevic had a double-double pouring in 18 points and 13 rebounds. Evan Fournier and Aaron Gorden combined for 10 boards and 25 points but is wasn’t enough as they got annihilated by the Kings.
As a team, Orlando is averaging 103.2 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 107.2 points on 45.9 percent shooting. Vucevic has put the team on his back leading the Magic in scoring, rebounding and steals averaging 20.2 points, 12.1 boards and one steal per game. Aaron Gorden is doing his thing averaging 15.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game and Evan Founier has stepped up averaging 15 points,3.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. At the moment the Magic are just to games out from the eighth seed in the Eastern conference if they can find some confidence they could find their way into the playoff hunt.

ESPN NBA Scores Orlando Magic Vs Utah Jazz
Both teams are coming off a loss and should be looking to bounce back, but the Magic just can’t find any consistent offense from anyone other than Vucevic and today hes going up against current DPOY Rudy Gobert. If Gobert can slow down Vucevic the Magic don’t stand a chance but if someone else can step up then Orlando should have a shot of winning. Tonight the Jazz will be without Rubio so I expect Mitchell step up in his absence. With that being said, I’m going to pick Utah to build some momentum at home and get an easy win over the struggling Magic.
