Free NBA Pick San Antonio Spurs vs Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz get to host the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 9:00 pm, who they just recently saw and had an impressive victory against. This time the Utah Jazz get to play with their home crowd at Vivint Smart Home Arena. As it stands, the San Antonio Spurs currently remain unbeaten on the road this season having impressive wins at Golden State, Sacramento, and Miami. What is uncharacteristic of the past Spurs has to be their offense which has been extremely potent. We have always known the Spurs for their defense and grind out mentality against the flashy west coast counterparts, but this NBA season they are averaging 105 points a game while shooting an impressive 45%. On the defensive end they are holding their opponents to just under 96 points per game, which leads us to the point that when they secure a victory it’s by a rather large number. The most impressive player who worked out with Kobe Bryant this offseason Kawhi Leonard, is averaging over 28 points a game and looks to finally take over as the teams best player. The Spurs have been waiting for him to take over a the true leader after Tim Duncan rode his horse off into the sunset. With the combination of LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills serving as an impressive 1-2-3 punch, the Spurs seem to keep up were they have left off for the past ten years. I fully expect the Spurs to be one of the top 5 teams in the NBA this year led by one of the best, if not the best NBA coach, Gregg Popovich.
On the other end of the court suiting up tonight is the Utah Jazz which at are hoping to continue the trend of being unbeaten at home in this early NBA season. The Utah Jazz are standing at a record of 3-2 so far this season despite their best players on the bench. While the Jazz’s offense isn’t scoring as much as their opponent tonight, they are winning games and in the NBA that is perhaps the most important stat. The Utah Jazz are only scoring 95.6 points per game while shooting yet an impressive 45% from the field. George Hill and Rodney Hood have stepped up in the absence of Gordon Hayward and Favors scoring well above their usual points per game. Adding Joe Johnson in the offseason was a huge addition, which has allowed the Utah Jazz to stay competitive. When it comes to shooting from 3 point land the Utah Jazz are averaging 38.7 percent, which puts them near the top of the mark.

As I stated above the Utah Jazz just beat the San Antonio Spurs by 15 points on Tuesday by making an obscene amount of 3’s on the road. Trying to beat Gregg Popovich twice in one week is a tall order for even the NBA elites in the league. I’m not calling the Utah Jazz victory a fluke or anything, but I don’t think the Spurs want the Utah Jazz to slap them twice in the face. Betting against the Spurs is like betting against Lebron during the NBA Finals, not a wise move. With tons of confidence, I think the Spurs not only win, but win in a very convincing fashion tonight. I see the Spurs stepping out and defending the 3 point shoot a lot better and for them to stay active for the entire game. Their were points when the played Utah on Tuesday where you felt like they were sleep walking, I see them stepping on the gas against the Utah Jazz and not letting go.
