FanDuel NBA Finals Pick Golden State Warriors vs. Toronto Raptors
After a day off, The Golden State Warriors and Raptors are right back in the Oracle Arena for some Friday night hoops. The Golden State Warriors saw their five game home streak snapped in Game 3 as they look to even the series. The Golden State warriors has not lost back-to-back games at home in their five-year run in the NBA Finals. With Klay Thompson soon to return, there is optimism for Golden State Warriors.
Stephen Curry had the hot hand in game 3 with a 47-point outing against the Raptors, but it was not enough as Raptors continued to not be stopped on offense as they win 123-109.
Over the last few games in the NBA Finals, The Warriors has leaned on their bench to have a big series. With the loss of Kevin Durant and Kevin Looney, the warriors will look to get answers from their bench. Among those reserves, Quinn Cook has provided some good bench productions averaging eight points per game while shooting 48.1%. Cook was also a key player in the Warriors’ Game 2 win on the road when he hit three three-pointers (two back-to-back in response to the Raptors’ own treys) and blocked a shot by Kyle Lowry in the fourth quarter. Lowry was unable to connect from distance on his two three-point attempts Wednesday night but he still added nine points on 4-of-7 shooting from inside the arc. Should the Raptors keep up their production from Game 3 moving forward, the Warriors will look to players like Cook to continue contributing in the last games of the NBA Finals.
In Game 3, The Raptors three different players who struggled in Game 2 show up for Game 3. Kyle Lowry was active and aggressive and finished with 23 points, Marc Gasol had 17 points on 6-of-11 shots, and Danny Green hit clutch throughout the game while finishing with 18 points. If the huge turnarounds was enough, Kawhi Leonard erupted for 21 second-half points in the final 24 minutes, and Serge lbaka had five of six blocks shots in the second half. The Raptors were also red-hot in Game 3; their shooting from the floor (52.4 percent) and from beyond the arc (44.7).
