#23 Florida State Seminoles (12-4) vs Syracuse Orange(12-5)

NCAA Basketball: Saturday, January 13, 2018 2:00 PM @Donald L.Tucker Civic Center

Line: Florida State Seminoles +10 Over/Under:70

This will be Syracuse’s second consecutive road game, where they will take on the #23 Florida State Seminoles Saturday afternoon. The Orange are 1-3 in the ACC so far. This will be their chance to attempt to take down a nationally ranked team. When the Orange score above 67 they usually end the game with a win. Frank Howard is averaging 15.5 points per game, freshman guard Oshae Brisset is right under Howard scoring 15.2 points per game. Averaging the most for the Orange is Tyus Battle with 19 points per game. The three of them combined are scoring 71% of the points this season. The Orange have very strong guard play this year.

Like the Orange, the Seminoles are 1-3 in conference play. Lucky for Florida state, key player Christ Koumadje may be playing this next game. Koumadje is the Seminoles 7-foot-4 center, and he makes his presence known. The Seminoles have been doing well without him, but having him play is a plus for Florida State. Terance Mann is leading the Seminoles with 15.1 points per game. Trent Forrest has great floor vision and he is leading the team with 59 assists. Adding double digits every game Braian Angola who is averaging 13.6 and Phil Cofer averaging 13.0 points.

The Orange have had success in the past playing the Seminoles for they usually win each year. The Seminoles get back their key player Koumadje and Syracuse does not have a single player who could completely stop Koumadje. Even without their star center, they have been able to be ranked where the Orange fell short. If the Orange come out with a win it would be a big win for them, but the Seminoles are expected to win this game.
