Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-0) vs. Seton Hall Pirates (5-1)

NCAA Basketball: Thursday, November 30th, 2017, 6:30 PM @ Madison Square Garden

Line: Seton Hall Pirates -135       Spread: Seton Hall -3      Over/Under: 137

The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Seton Hall Pirates face off in the first game of the Under Armour Reunion on Thursday at Madison Square Garden. This is the first time since 2009 that Texas Tech has been ranked as they go into this game ranked No. 22. They will be led by the back court duo of Senior Guard, Keenan Evans and Freshman Guard, Jarret Culver. Evans heads into this game averaging 15 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He is also shooting 52% from the field. Culver is averaging 11 points and 3.2 rebounds in just 18 minutes of action per game. He is also averaging a steal per game. Texas Tech needs to come out firing if they want to take care of business tonight.

The Seton Hall Pirates are off to a great start this year as they are 5-1 thus far. They head into this match up led by a dynamic duo of Seniors, Desi Rodriguez at Froward and Angel Delgado at Center. Rodriguez leads the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game and contributes 4 rebounds per game as well. Delgado is averaging close to a double double with 14 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Also worthy of mentioning is Sophomore Guard, Myles Powell who averages 14 points per game. They will need the entire team to contribute if they expect to beat Texas Tech.

Current trends courtesy of CTS365:

  • Texas Tech is 5-0 SU in their last 5 games
  • Seton Hall is 5-1 SU in their last 6 games
  • Seton Hall is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games

While this game is technically being played at a neutral site, Madison Square Garden is moreso home to the Seton Hall Pirates’ fans. However, Texas Tech has looked great thus far as they are currently 6-0. Also, Seton hall is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games. They definitely have the Senior Leadership but Texas Tech has a rising star in Freshman Jarret Culver who I know is going to get his tonight. When the line opened, Texas Tech was favored by 1.5 points but the public has been betting hard on Seton Hall. Fade the Public. I’m taking Texas Tech +1.5 tonight. Texas Tech +3
