The battle of two unbeaten teams takes place tonight as the 12th ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers take on the 10th ranked Miami Hurricanes Williams Arena. Both teams are off to a hot start and this game is gearing up to be an exciting one.

The Hurricanes have benefited from the play of Dewan Huell and Ja’Quan Newton. Huell leads the team in scoring with a 13.4 point per game average while Newton adds 11.6 points per game. Miami also has other stars that will prove to be instrumental as the season progresses such as Bruce Brown Jr. and Lonnie Walker IV. Brown has started the season conservatively but has the potential to be a monster on the court. The Hurricanes will only get better as the season continues and will be a major force to reckon with when the time comes.

Minnesota is also off to a fast start with Nate Mason, Amir Coffey and Reggie Lynch all averaging in double digits in scoring. They have a couple big wins under their belt already versus teams like Providence and Massachusetts. The Golden Gophers also got a win versus Alabama last week but the circumstances were shady as Alabama ended the game with only three starters on the court due to ejections and fouls. Alabama actually cut into Minnesota’s lead but they were able to hold on and secure the victory. Coach Pitino is not concerned with the weak play versus a team with only three players but it did seem to show a chink in their armor.

Free NCAAB Prediction Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Miami Hurricanes

This game is sure to be a tough test for both teams but the oddsmakers have placed the advantage to the Golden Gophers in part because of home court advantage. Minnesota has had a tougher schedule to date but faltered last week versus Alabama and almost gave away what seemed to be an easy game. They will have that in the back of their mind tonight and the pressure may get to them. Miami’s lineup is star-studded and they have a lot to prove to the nation. They will go into tonight’s game firing on all cylinders and have a huge chance of pulling this game out. Good Luck.
