These teams are meeting for the third with each team winning home with Minnesota winning the most recent game on March 5th 73-69 and got off to a quick start with a 37-27 halftime lead. Getting off to another great start will be very important to give them an edge. Both teams should be in the NCAA Tournament as the win over Penn State probably sealed as a place in the tournament for the Golden Gophers. Purdue needs to win to help improve their seeding as they are currently projected as a 3 seed. Edwards should have a big game as he looks to improve his draft stock and should continue his run of dominance in the Big Ten. Purdue is the best 3-point shooting team in the conference making 36.3% and lead the conference in offensive rebounding as well. Purdue should have a good night from three and should be good on defense as Minnesota should struggle to score against a very good Boilermaker defense and Purdue should have a great shooting night from behind the arc.
