NCAA BB Picks and Parlays Missouri Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs
The Tigers and Bulldogs look to duel it out and advance in the SEC Tournament.
Georgia hasn’t had a good season but they now have the opportunity to finally do something noteworthy this season by making a run in this year’s SEC tournament. They will be going up against Missouri, the same team that trounced them at their home place with a whopping score of 64-39. The bad loss a little over a week ago is most likely still on Georgia’s mind. The team will also be without forward Rayshaun Hammonds for the season. He has missed the last few games, including their last duel against Missouri. He is one of the team’s leading scorers with a little over 12 points a game.
For Georgia to win, they will need to dominate the boards as the team is 36th in the country in total rebounding. Georgia’s advantage over Missouri is that they produce more assists at a little over 13 a game compared to Missouri’s 11 per game. Furthermore, the team will need to produce turnovers on the defensive end by forcing steals in order to get more points from fast break situations. For the team, their ability to gain more assists than their SEC counterpart will be beneficial for them as they average 5.84 steals a game compared to Missouri’s 4.60 steals a game.
Missouri has been a mediocre team all year and they are facing a very winnable game against a team they destroyed a week ago on the road. Guard Javon Pickett is questionable for the game with a back injury. If he’s out or not himself, the team will be without one of their top scorers in the backcourt.
The key for Missouri is to create as many three point shooting opportunities as possible and to shoot at a good percentage from beyond the arc. The team is ranked 83rd in three point shooting. The Tigers shoots the three at 35.8%. However, the team will still need to get to the free throw line just enough to get the Bulldogs in foul trouble. However, their free throw percentage is at 69.5% while Georgia’s free throw percentage is higher at 71%. Also, guard Jordan Geist and forward Jeremiah Tilmon will be looked at by the Tigers to lead the team in this match. Geist leads the team in scoring, assists, and steals while Tilmon is the best in his team at rebounding and blocks. If they play well, Tigers should lock up another victory.

FREE NCAA BB Expert Picks Georgia Bulldogs vs. Missouri Tigers
Missouri is the better team and should take care of business even on neutral site. If they create and take advantage of three point shooting opportunities while getting back on defense when Georgia gets rebounds, then it will bode well for them. The line is small so I feel very comfortable taking Missouri to cover the spread in this one.
PICK: Missouri – 3
