This Big 12 matchup will feature two of the best defensive teams in the conference with Tech putting their 10-game unbeaten home record on the line. Tech will need to keep Oklahoma off the boards as they lead the Big 12 in rebounding with over 43 a game while Texas Tech only allows 30.9 a game. The Red Raiders haven’t lost to the Sooners at home since February of 2015 and have defended their home-court in the last three matchups in Lubbock. Oklahoma will need to create turnovers and will also need Christian James to have a high scoring game. The Red Raiders should win however with their size and rebounding they should pull away at home in the second half in what is sure to be a defensive struggle.
