Free NFL Pick Buffalo Bills vs Seattle Seahawks

Monday Night Football brings a stellar matchup this week with the Buffalo Bills playing against the Seattle Seahawks at the loudest stadium in the NFL at CenturyLInk Field.  This is the last place any NFL team wants to visit, let alone at night on Monday Night Football.  At CTS365 we are happy to bring you our free NFL pick for this matchup against the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks.

Buffalo Bills season has certainly taken a turn rather quickly and not for the best.  After starting off the season on the right foot Rex Ryan team has started to come undone at the seems.  They are trying to win on Monday Night Football to get one game above .500, where they currently stand at a record of 4-4.  To make matters more pressing the Bills have lost the last six of eight road games, but this is not the fault of their quarterback play.  Tyrod Taylor has had an above average season while showing signs of greatness with deep passing and smart pocket awareness.  While at the same time Taylor has avoided interceptions all season by only allowing two this season compared to nine touchdowns thrown.  You can add a couple more touchdowns to his belt with the ones he’s rushed in while using his own two feet.  The problem we are finding with Tyrod Taylor and the Bills offense is he just doesn’t provide multiple scores.  In five of his last eight games, Taylor has only accounted for 1 or less touchdown on the field, while he is managing games right he’s just not doing enough.  Not having Sammy Watkins has certainly not helped Tyrod Taylor and the Bills offense.  While Robert Woods and Charles Clay have provided some action down the field, but have not provided any explosive power.  However, when it comes to the ground game the Bills have excelled with the help of Lesean McCoy.  His breakout speed has allowed the Bills run game to keep the games close and control the time of possession, which is a Rex Ryan strategy is we ever saw one.  Mccoy has lead the way with nearly 600 rushing years and a whopping six touchdowns on the year, needless to say fantasy football owners are ecstatic.

On to their NFC opponent the Seattle Seahawks and Pete Carrol are exactly where you would expect them to be at this point of the NFL season.  The Seahawks currently are undefeated at home while currently sitting on top of the NFC West.  Seattle Seahawks have always been dominate at home winning six of their last seven regular season games.  Russell Wilson is completing nearly 66 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and two interceptions.  Wilson hasn’t been his usual flashy self putting up big numbers as the seahawks offense has been extremely stale lately.  Wilson has no passing touchdowns in the past three games, but their defense has absolutely lead the way.  Wilson has been able to find his two most popular targets this season which is Jimmy Graham and Doug Baldwin which have combined for nearly 1,000 receiving yards and three touchdowns.  It’s on the defense that has led the Seattle Seahawks to their impressive lead in the division.  They only allow 15.6 per game and just over 300 yards a game.

When it comes to important trends to look at for this Monday Night Football game we have compiled a couple to take a look at.

  • Buffalo Bills are 5-1-1 ATS against teams with a winning record.
  • However when the Buffalo Bills hit the road they are a dismal 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games.
  • Seattle Seahawks are 7-2-1 on MNF games in the last 10.
  • Seattle Seahawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a L

How do we serve up this Monday Night Football game with the large point spread for the dominant Seattle Seahawks at home? We don’t like the Buffalo Bills as a playoff team, but we certainly respect them when they come to play against the best of the best in the NFL.  The Bills defense has stepped up to the challenge when needed and with Tyrod Taylor managing the game as well as he has been doing.  Do we think the Bills win this game outright? Absolutely not, but I do see the Bills making this a very close game.  With the Bills defense keeping Wilson in check as we haven’t seen him comfortable all year with his ankle hindering him.  Rex Ryan will make sure to continue to put pressure on his ankle all night bringing in multiple blitz packages left and right.  I feel like the smart play is to take the points in this game.
