NHL Scores Dallas Stars at St. Louis Blues
The Dallas Stars and the St. Louis Blues are getting ready to meet in game one of the Western Conference Semifinals. The fans will be raising the roof at the Enterprise Center on Thursday night. The St. Louis Blues will be looking to start off on the right foot with an opening victory here Thursday, but not if the Dallas Stars have something to say about it. The Stars are riding high after a 4-2 series win over the Nashville Predators, advancing in the Stanley Cup playoffs for just the second time in 11 seasons. Either way, it should be a fun game to watch and wager on.
On the other hand, the St. Louis Blues have been perennial playoff contenders lately, and they will be looking to capitalize on their third second round appearance in the last four years. Moreover, they won their last series after a 4-2 series win after Winnipeg. They capped it off with a 3-2 win against the Jets where the Blues’ Jaden Schwartz scored a goal in each period to secure the hat trick, thus helping his team to victory. You can bet your bottom dollar if Schwartz shows up in this game against the Stars he will be giving them some serious headaches.
The Dallas Stars clinched their series win with a 2-1 overtime victory over Nashville. The Predators opened up the scoring with the only goal of the first period. However, the Stars’ Blake Comeau tied the game in the second period for a one-all game going into the third. No one scored in the third, so the game went into overtime and remain scoreless for the majority of the frame until a goal from John Klingberg sent the Stars on to face the Blues in the next round. If the Stars’ defense shows up to play against the Blues, St. Louis will have a tough game indeed.

NHL Fanduel St. Louis Blues vs. Dallas Stars
I’ll just cut to the chase here. I’m going to go with the plus money on Dallas simply because they have done so well against the Blues. Admittedly, it is tempting to go with St. Louis simply they have had more time to rest and they are on their home ice. But Dallas has a strong defense and solid goal playing. The game could be close, but I’m picking Dallas.
