The New York Giants lost their opening game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 15-20. Despite the loss, rookie Saquon Barkley had a very good debut, running 18 times for 106 yards and broke off a 68 yard touchdown run. Already after one game, it seems the Giants will be relying heavily on the rookie running back, which could be favorable for the Giants. Eli Manning went 23 for 37 on the day against a tough Jaguar secondary. He did not throw a touchdown, but he did throw an interception. The Giants will need Odell Beckham Jr. to be more involved this week, especially in the red zone, if they are going to take down a division rival and avoid an 0-2 start.

The Dallas Cowboys only managed 8 points in their opening day game with the Carolina Panthers, which is concern going forward. Quarterback, Dak Prescott did not look very good and with not any elite wide receivers to throw to, it made it very difficult for the Cowboys all game long. Their defense kept them in the game and allowed 16 points to the Panthers, but in the end they could not find enough offensive production to get the job done. Going up against a division rival will be tough, but Dallas will be able to pull this one out if Dak can find time in the pocket to make accurate throws.

Dallas Cowboys

(2-1) SU in their last 3 meetings vs the New York Giants

Both offenses were not that great last week, but both defenses played decently to hold their opponents at 20 points or below. Given some of the offensive struggles, this game with likely go UNDER the 42.5 total and the Giants will come out on top

Pick: UNDER 42.5

Giants players still have so much love for Eli ❤️

Only eight players - EIGHT! - on the field last night were with the #NYGiants and teammates of Eli Manning for his last fourth quarter comeback (vs. Bengals, 2016).

Saquon Barkley was 7 when Eli Manning rallied NYG to 1st 4th-quarter comeback 14 seasons ago.
The Eli magic was just legend for a lot of young #NYGiants until Monday night.
Finally, for one game, it was again reality.
