The Houston Texans were somehow able to come back against the Bills in their wildcard game, winning 22-19. Deshawn Watson carried the entire team on his back after being down 0-13 at the end of the half, scoring 19 unanswered point. Despite that, the Texans really didn’t want to win the game, giving the Bills every chance to come back. Luckily for the Texans, they were facing the Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs were on a bye week after they secured the #2 seed after defeating the Chargers in week 17. They really needed the bye week too, as both Travis Kelce and Chris Jones were hurt. It also helps that they have momentum at home, being on a 4-game home winning streak.

The Houston Texans don’t look like a playoff team

If the Texans faced any other team that isn’t the Bills, they would have lost in the Wildcard round. Even then, they almost lost to the Bills, and their season rankings explains why. The Texans have a solid offense, ranking 13th in offensive yards and 14th in points scored. However, their defense is not good, ranking 28th in yards allowed, 19th in points allowed, and have a Turnover Ratio of 0. The Texans don’t deserve to be in the divisional round.

The Kansas City Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is the best young quarterback in the league. After his MVP season last year, he was able to lead the Chiefs to the playoffs with one of the best passing offenses in the league. The Chiefs are ranked 6th in offensive yards, 5th in passing yards, and 5th in points scored. The Chiefs Defense has even stepped it up this year after being one of the worst defenses last year, ranking 17th in yards allowed, 8th in passing yards allowed, 7th in points allowed, and a turnover ratio of +8. With the Ravens knocked out of the playoffs, the Chiefs look like the AFC team to beat.

If it wasn’t for Deshawn Watsons heroics and the Bills being the Bills, this game would be Bills vs Chiefs. The Chiefs are not going to be as nice as the Bills were. Expect the Chiefs to go on to face the Titans in the AFC championship.
