Super Bowl Sunday 51 is upon with the New England Patriots facing off against the Atlanta Falcons in front of the entire world! Will Tom Brady add a 5th Super Bowl ring or will Matt Ryan capture his first?

The New England Patriots seem to always find themselves in the Super Bowl even against all odds. This season it started with the suspension of Tom Brady for the first four game of the season and that had no effect on them at all. The Patriots come surging into the Super Bowl on a mission riding an impressive nine game winning streak after completely beating up on the Steelers. A game our associate Will predicted correctly, but did not expect such a blow, but a win is a win! This would be the fifth Super Bowl victory for the New England Patriots if they can capture it and all with Tom Brady. Tom Brady is a current gun slinger posting an impressive 11 TDs in the past four games, if anyone was questioning his age and deterioration thats a thing of the past. He has even made average WR’s like Chris Hogan and James White look like superstars, but thats exactly what coach Bill does! What people are not discussing is how impressive the Patriots have looked on the other side of the ball. After completely shutting down perhaps the most talented RB and WR in the league two weeks with the Steelers speaks volumes. Over the course of the last five games the Patriots defense has allowed 17 points or less making them as dominant as ever. When you have a stellar defense and an even better offense the New England Patriots aren’t tough to beat, they are impossible to beat.

On the flip side we have the Atlanta Falcons who are just as hot riding a six game winning streak as well on their own end. They not only win, but they win in fashion. Nobody expected the Flacons to destroy and shut down the potent Aaron Rogers and Green Bay Packers offense, but the Falcons did just that. The Falcons are stepping into the Super Bowl with perhaps one of the best offenses since the greatest show on turf, the St Louis Rams. Atlanta scores and scores a lot, they have recorded over 28 points in eight straight games including the playoffs! Matt Ryan is head to head with Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers for MVP honors. The Falcons aren’t depending on just Julio Jones like they were in the past, this Falcons offense loves to share the ball to everyone! Now this Falcons defense has shut down Aaron Rogers leads people to believe they can do the exact same thing to the New England Patriots. It’s clear to see that the public is slightly favoring these Falcons and why not, they play beautiful football. They limit turnovers, execute on point, and consistently share the pigskin.

Super Bowl 5 Trends For Both Teams

New England is 5-1 ATS in last 6 playoff games

Falcons are 2-6 ATS last 8 playoff games

Patriots are 4-0 ATS last 4 matchups vs Falcons

With the entire world watching Super Bowl 51 and Tom Brady participating in this makes it easier than you think. Everyone is in love with these Falcons and for good reason. People have picked against them all year and they have continually proved people wrong. Matt Ryan is excelling more so than ever and they have executed nearly flawless football for almost the entire season. The only thing that the Falcons are missing is coach Belichick and sadly that is my x-factor here. Even if the Falcons find themselves ahead at halftime as soon as they go into the locker rooms it spells disaster for whoever Belichick is playing. This game will absolutely be closer than anyone thinks, perhaps this could be the first overtime ever to be played in a Super Bowl. I mean, it has to happen sometime, right? But I don’t think Tom Brady needs anymore time then whats needed to finish off one hand of championship rings. I see the Patriots winning a close contest in Super Bowl 51. For betting purposes I love taking the Patriots and buying .5 points to either have them at -2.5 or even paying the premium for the money line.
