NFL Picks New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons

The New Orleans Saints go to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in an NFC South Thanksgiving clash.

The New Orleans Saints are 9-2 and are playing for hopes of a bye week in the playoffs. The Saints were tripped up by the Falcons just a few weeks ago, losing 26-9. The loss was Quarterback Drew Brees' second game back and he has looked like he's back to his old self since then. The Saints are the only NFC team at the moment to look like they have won their division. The most interesting matchup is Wide Receiver Micheal Thomas against Atlanta's secondary. Thomas is the league leader in receiving yards with 1,242. Atlanta gives up the sixth-most receiving yards per game with 279.2 yards per game.

The Atlanta Falcons come in attempting to be spoilers to their rivals. The Falcons have had a woeful season, sitting at a 3-8 record. The only major bright spot for the Falcons has been Wide Reciever Julio Jones, who is fourth in receiving yards with 950. Atlanta may have Running Back Devonta Freeman back from injury, which could boost the offense that has been lackluster this season. The Falcons have had to rely on Quarterback Matt Ryan to bolster the offense, especially with Freeman out. Which is why the Falcons are third in the league in passing yards with 298.5 yards per game.
