The New Orleans Saints enter into Thursday night having won ten straight games after losing in week 1 at home to Tampa Bay. The Saints are coming off of a Thanksgiving night victory against the Atlanta Falcons and will now have a chance to clinch the NFC South title with a win and a Carolina Panthers loss. Drew Brees is having what might be the best year of his career completing 76.4% of his passes and throwing for over 3000 yards already this season. Mark Ingram has played well against the Cowboys in his three previous games averaging 91.7 rush yards per game on 17 carries.
The Dallas Cowboys have finally found their footing as they have won three straight games to take a tie for the NFC East crown. Ezekiel Elliott has been great of late rushing for 394 yards on 68 carries in his last three games and he should be fresh with having sat out practice on Sunday to try to keep his body fresh. He has already crossed the 1,000-yard plateau for the second time in his career and has crossed 100 yards in each of the last three games. Das Prescott has also picked up his game having completed at least 67% of his passes in each of the last four games. The Cowboys defense are allowing 19.4 points per game which is the 4th least in the league and are allowing only 237.5 yards through the air.

Free NFL Prediction New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys
This game should have an impact on the NFC playoff picture as the end of the regular season is fast approaching. The Cowboys appear to be in one of the worst divisions in the NFL and may be able to find a way into the playoffs with an 8-8 record. The Saints have been arguably the best team in the sport with a victory over the Los Angeles Rams already taken care of. The Saints rush defense will need to continue to dominate to slow down Elliott as they have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in over a year and are allowing just 73.2 rush yards per game. That defense should hold up against a Cowboys team averaging just 21.7 points per game and the Drew Brees led offense should find a way through the Cowboy defense and have another big scoring night to get the Saints an easy victory and to get them closer to clinching a playoff berth.
