NFL FUTURE WIN TOTALS OVER/UNDER DENVER BRONCOS
Since losing the hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning the Broncos QB questions have yet to be answered. After finishing with 9 wins in the season after losing Manning, was not terrible considering the major blow the Broncos took up front. After their super bowl trip, leading to a victory and a certain great goodbye for Peyton Manning the Broncos failed to make the playoffs last year and face the same struggles this year.
With one of the best defensive players in the NFL, Von Miller has been the heart and soul of this Broncos team. Von Miller ranked second in the NFL with 13.5 sacks. The Broncos have a magnitude of offensive weapons in, C.J. Anderson, Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas and now newly acquired Jamaal Charles. Being the Broncos have not lost anyone substantial thus far, not much will look different for this upcoming season. The Broncos defense is still the backbone of this team, the only real concern heading into next season is offensive production and whom will start at the QB position. The Broncos will be another team supporting the quarterback competition at training camp. Trevor Siemian went 8-6 in his 14 starts as the Broncos QB, and Paxton Lynch went 1-1 in his two starts for the Broncos last season. Now added to the mix, Chad Kelly. It would seem sensible the Broncos go with Siemian, but a lot of rumors have been saying the Broncos three QB’s will competing for the starting job come September.
DENVER BRONCOS 6.5 WINS OVER/UNDER
Broncos draft was a successful one, with a tough choice at the 20th overall spot in the 1st round, the Broncos faced their offensive line issues drafting Garrett Boles from Utah. Boles is an older rookie, but a much more reliable one too as fans can expect to be starting from day one on the left side. Drafting DE during round 2 Demarcus Walker out of Florida State gives the Broncos a few options as to where they want to play the rookie, as he is very versatile and reliable. Round 3 the Broncos went with a WR out of Louisiana Tech, the Broncos got a good late round wide receiver who provides a threat to defenses on the goal line, in the end, zone and can be used on special teams as well.
Denver Broncos Schedule 2017-2018
Mon, Sep 11vsChargers 10:20 PM
Sun, Sep 17vsCowboys 4:25 PM
Sun, Sep 24@Bills 1:00 PM
Outlook: At the end of the day the Denver Broncos will only be as good as their young quarterback will take them. Their defense will keep them in almost every game of the season if their offense does not turn over the ball on a regular basis. The Broncos schedule is not the hardest in the NFL, but it’s also not the easy by any stretch. Broncos will need a lot of output from their running backs in order to give Siemian a chance to excel. As we often saw last season if the Broncos fell behind they were doomed. That is certainly an aspect they will be addressing in the coming weeks with training camp right around the corner.
