A pair of NFC East rivals squares off at Jerry World as the Philadelphia Eagles (6-6) hit the road down to Dallas to face the Cowboys (7-5). This is the race for the NFC East crown, and the Cowboys and defending Super Bowl Champions Eagles are hungry for a win in this great rivalry and the race for the NFC East.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are coming off a 28-13 win over the Washington Redskins on Monday Night and looked ready for the late-season push for the division. It hasn’t quite been the season they were expecting as the defending Super Bowl Champion, but quarterback Carson Wentz has had a strong season, with 2,846 yards and 18 touchdowns. Rookie running back Josh Adams leads the Eagles in rushing with 376 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Ertz is on his way to a historic season as the Eagles tight end has 93 catches for 978 yards and six touchdowns. The Eagles have won two straight divisional games since their 48-7 loss to the Saints in week 11.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys were at a crossroads only five games ago when they fell at home to the Titans on Monday Night Football. Since then Dallas has won four straight and find themselves currently atop the NFC East. Dak Prescott leads the Cowboys with 2,675 yards and 14 touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott continues to show why he is one of the top backs in the league with 1,150 yards rushing on 240 carries and six touchdowns. The Cowboys are averaging over 20 points per game, and are coming off a major win over the New Orleans Saints.

Both teams have won five games against the other in the last 10 meetings. Dallas has won two of the last three meetings. The Cowboys beat the Eagles in Philadelphia earlier this season, with a score of 27-20. Can the Eagles get it done in Arlington? The Over doesn’t seem like a very good pick in this one as the total has only been over once in the last three games between these teams. Can the Eagles overcome the high level the Dallas defense is playing at, or will the Cowboys roll to their fifth consecutive victory this season?

Pick: Cowboys -3.5

#Eagles Thursday Injury Report:

DNP: DE Bennett (foot), LB Hicks (calf), DT Jernigan (back), CB Jones (hamstring), T Mailata (back), G Seumalo (pectoral), QB Wentz (back).

LIMITED: WR Gibson (wrist), CB Maddox (ankle, knee).

FULL: T Johnson (not injury related - personal).

#Eagles have averaged 6.4 yards a play when in “12” personnel (2 TEs), 5.1 yards otherwise. And yet, they haven’t used Dallas Goedert enough this season. My film breakdown:

Carson Wentz has fractured vertebra, will seek medical opinion outside the #Eagles:

Carson Wentz just took a jog after warm-ups, but he’s not going today. #Eagles

Carson Wentz has a fractured vertebrae after a series of tests, NFL source confirms reports. The #Eagles are still gathering information, but Wentz is obviously unlikely to play Sunday.
