NFL Picks Buffalo Bills vs Washington Redskins

Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins are on a two-game losing streak after losses to the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. Their most recent loss was their 19-9 loss to the Vikings.

In their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Vikings, the Redskins lost their quarterback Case Keenum to a concussion. Prior to the concussion, Keenum was 12 of 16 and had 130 yards. Dwyane Haskins took over for Keenum and finished the game and went 3 for 5, as he threw for 33 yards. Haskins also had one interception.

This week, Haskins will be the starter, as Keenum remains out. This is the first start of his young career. With this in mind, it will be interesting to see how he does against a team that ranks third in passing defense.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are coming off of a 31-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The loss gives the Bills a record of 5-2 and a home record of 2-2.

Going into the game, the Eagles were under .500, and their 18 point win over the Bills placed them at .500. The Bills' loss to the Eagles was a bit surprising, and they have a chance to redeem themselves as they face a 1-7 team.

In their game against the Eagles, Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 16-of-34 pass attempts, or in other words, only 47 percent of his passes and had three fumbles. He threw for 169 yards and had two touchdowns in the process. Despite not throwing an interception in his last nine quarters, Allen struggled to complete passes.

The Bills defense gave up 218 rushing yards against the Eagles. If the Bills defense wants to recover from their performance last week, they must tighten up on their run defense.
