NFL Picks Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants

Washington meets New York in a crucial NFC East divisional matchup, with one team receiving hope in a young star, and the other team hoping to stop a terrible start.

Unfortunately, Washington comes into the game having a disaster of a season. The only real bright side is rookie Wide Reciever Terry McLaurin looks to be their pass catcher of the future. However, after an 0-3 start, anything is up in the air in the nation's capital. Also, Quarterback Case Keenum has not been able to pull them to victory, and there is question wheter newly drafted Quarterback, Dwayne Haskins should step in. If Washington cannot beat their divisional rivals this week, the call for Haskins will no doubt get much louder. Haskins may be the Quarterback especially fast as Jay Gruden may have to try to save his job as Head Coach. In fact, if Washington is down, it may not be surprising to see Haskins step in the game this week.

The New York Giants have new hope in the first-round Quarterback Daniel Jones.

Jones had a spectacular debut start last week against the Buccaneers. The former Duke alum threw for over 350 yards and two touchdowns. However, with Saquon Barkley out for several weeks with an ankle sprain and it looks like all hope for the G-Men is in Jones. It seems like the Eli Manning era is officially done in New York at least, and the Jones era begins, and the hype will grow even more if he's able to pull off a win against Washington.
