NHL Scores San Jose Sharks vs. Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks come into San Jose tonight to take on the Sharks at the SAP Center. The Ducks currently have some momentum with a two-game winning streak. Alternately, the San Jose Sharks are going through a span where they simply aren't doing well. They have lost three straight, including games with Vancouver, Colorado, and the Arizona Coyotes. Of course, as you watch and wager on this game, you might take some time to have a moment of silence for basketball star Kobe Bryant. I realize that he was in a different sport, but Kobe was all about professional sports and giving back. Who knows? There might be several people on both of these teams tonight that many people look up to just like they did Kobe.
Even though the Anaheim Ducks currently have a two-game winning streak, they have definitely gone through a rough patch. They have actually lost three out of the eight games they have played this month. Are they on the winning path now? They will be if Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Sifverberg have something to say about it. Getzlaf leads the team in points with 33 points and Sifverberg is not too far behind with 29 points.
The Sharks are the slightly better team here, as they are sixth in the Pacific Division, as compared to the seventh slot that the Ducks are currently in. However, the biggest problem with the Sharks' current losing streak is that, frankly, these games haven't even been contests. San Jose has actually been outscored by an 18-4 margin in these last three matchups.
