NHL Scores Detroit Red Wings vs. San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks head to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit to take on the Red Wings. The Detroit NHL team has not done well at all this year, with only nine wins on the season. In their last game, they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning by a close 2-1 score.
On the other side of the puck, we have the Sharks, who in their last game demolished the Philadelphia Flyers by the score of 6-1. Considering that Detroit will be looking for some redemption and that the Sharks have the endorphins pumping after their big victory, this should be an interesting game to watch and wager on.
Sadly, in their last game the Detroit Red Wings didn't have much offense. They only scored one goal, which was notched by Robby Fabbri and he was assisted by Filip Hronek and Andreas Athanasiou. The Red Wings will have to figure out how to improve on offense in a hurry if they expect to compete against San Jose.
In the Sharks 6-1 victory over the Flyers, they had lots of assistance. They were bolstered by the work of Timo Meier, who had three goals in this contest. However, they also were assisted by Mario Ferraro, Joel Kellman, and Patrick Marleau, who each had a goal. The Sharks had a win from goalkeeper Martin Jones, who had a stellar performance with 26 of 27 saves on the night.
