NHL Scores New York Rangers at New Jersey Devils
The New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils will meet in NHL action tonight at the Prudential Center. The Rangers are going to be looking for another win after they have split their last six games. They are averaging 2.7 goals per game and they have capitalized on 19.1 percent of their power play opportunities. The New Jersey Devils could use a win after a spell where they have lost 12 of their last 16 contests. They too are averaging 2.7 goals per game. They are scoring on 17.6 percent of their power play chances. Although it’s a shame these two teams aren’t in playoff contention, it will still be fun to watch some NHL action and watch and wager on this game, and no, that isn’t an April Fool’s joke either.
First of all, the Rangers have a 32-67 record in their last 99 games as an underdog. They are 19-445 in 64 games as a road underdog. Moreover, they have posted a 3-13 record in 16 games with no rest whatsoever. Does this bode well for the New York Rangers? No, not really. The Rangers are 2-5 in their last 7 games in New Jersey. Although the Devils have done well as a home favorite, the Rangers have won all three of the meetings versus the Devils this year.

NHL Fanduel New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers
In all honesty, neither of these teams have anything to play for at this point. They have both had a difficult season to say the least. Neither of them are playoff bound, and neither of them have the best record of late. I’ll admit that I am tempted to go with the New Jersey Devils simply because they have done well at home. However, they also have not don well against the Rangers this year. It really is a bit of a toss-up this game, but I’ll go with the Rangers simply because they have the better record.
