NHL Scores Philadelphia Flyers vs. San Jose Sharks
In this evening hockey game, the Philadelphia Flyers are going to San Jose to take on the Sharks at the SAP Center. They are still riding high after their 5-1 victory over the New York Rangers and the fact they are on a four-game winning streak.
On the other side of the puck, we have the San Jose Sharks, who are not doing quite as well as the Flyers. They are smarting a little bit after an overtime loss of 3-2 to the Los Angeles Kings, but if any good can come out of it, at least they get an OTL added to their total. Will this be good enough to help them get an actual "W" against the Flyers tonight? Only time will tell. Whatever the outcome, it should be a good game to watch and wager on.
This winning streak has been something else for the Flyers. During this time period, they have actually outscored their opponents an incredible 20-7. They have won games against the Ducks by 4-1; the Sabres by a mark of 6-1; and the Rangers by 5-1. They also had a shootout during this stretch where they defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-4. San Jose had better get on their game face if they expect to have a chance against this high-flying Philadelphia team (no pun intended LOL).
Conversely, the San Jose Sharks are on an opposite trajectory. They lost to the Coyotes 3-2; the Blues beat them by a score of 5-2; 3-1 to the Golden Knights; and the latest close 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. The Sharks are really struggling this season, and they will have to do their very best. Good thing they are in the friendly confines of the SAP Center.
