NHL Scores St. Louis Blues vs. San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks go on the road tonight to the Enterprise Center to take on the St. Louis Blues. Whatever way this game goes, both of these teams will be looking for a bit of redemption. The last game for St. Louis was a 5-4 OT slugfest loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Ironically, the last game for the San Jose Sharks was also a 5-4 OT scoring affair, and they lost to the Washington Capitals. This definitely makes for a fun game to watch and wager on.

St. Louis Blues

In the Blues losing effort to the Golden Knights, they were outshot 33 to 31. The Blues got goals from Alex Pietrangelo, Jaden Schwartz, Oskar Sundqvist, and David Perron. Although it looked like they were well on their way to winning in the first period, St. Louis unfortunately blew a 3-0 first period lead. They might have a much better record than the San Jose Sharks, but their defense will need to step up or San Jose will be primed for an upset.

San Jose Sharks

When San Jose lost to the Washington Capitals, they were at least helped by getting three goals from Evander Kane and one from Logan Couture. They tied the Capitals for shots on goal with 29. Their weakest link in this game would probably have to be goalie Martin Jones, who had an off-night what with allowing five goals on 29 shots. Unfortunately, the Sharks blew a two-goal lead in the last minute of the game and that sent the game into overtime. The Capitals then "capitalized" and won the game in the extra period.
