Vegas Golden Knights vs. Washington Capitals Free NHL Pick
The Washington Capitals won a crucial game two on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights to tie up the series. The Capitals played well in the first period, as they were able to quickly match the first goal scored by the Vegas Golden Knights. The Washington Capitals lost their star forward, Evgeny Kuznetsov, to injury during the first so Lars Eller had to step up, and did he ever. The former Canadien scored to tie the game at one with a beautiful pass from Michael Kempny. Eller received significantly more playing time with the Kuznetsov injury, and that seemed to really elevate his game. Lars Eller seemed to be the spark that Washington needed to get back in this series. On a power play shortly after, Eller passed the puck to Ovechkin hovering the post, who netted one to put the Capitals up 2-1. In the second period, Brooks Orpik fired a wrist shot from the top of the circle which beat Fleury to put the game at 3-1 Caps. And of course, the pass to him came from none other than Lars Eller. If the Capitals want to win game three at home, they will have to play with this same intensity from all four lines and match the speed of the Golden Knights.
The Vegas Golden Knights lost their second home game of the Stanley Cup Final to put the game at even. James Neal opened up the scoring for the Vegas Golden Knights, after he was streaking down the boards and fired an absolute snipe from the top of the circle to give his Golden Knights the lead. The Caps went on their run after the Neal goal, and Vegas could not seem to get enough sustained pressure on Washington. The Golden Knights got on the power play, and Shea Theodore made no mistake as he scored to shorten the Washington lead. This was the Capitals game, and there was nothing the Golden Knights could do to stop them. If Vegas wants to win game three in DC, they need to keep their foot on the gas and need to go even harder when they are down in the game.

Vegas Golden Knights vs. Washington Capitals NHL Prediction
This series seems to be very evenly matched, and each gam has gone down to the wire. Washington played the perfect game in game two, but it would be hard for them to repeat. Vegas should have enough rest to land back on their feet and win a game three on the road in Washington, DC.
