*Combined record of the regular season and postseason

After winning game one, the Winnipeg Jets gave away home ice advantage when their offense went cold and they dropped game two. Luckily for them they have done very well on the road thus far and will look to continue that trend. This postseason they have only lost two road games, with the last one coming in game two when they lost in Nashville, 5-4. This was all the way back on April 29th. In their fourteen playoff games this year, they are averaging 3.4 goals per game and are allowing an average of 2.6 goals per game. This is a good sign as they seem to get their offense flowing more times then not. The duo of Blake Wheeler, who is leading the team in assists with 15, and Mark Scheifele, who is leading the team in goals with 12 have really been the spark the Jets were looking for in their run through the Western Conference. Game three will be very important for the Jets to earn their home ice advantage back and they must find a way to win on the road once again.

The Vegas Golden Knights shocked the world when they eliminated San Jose an earned a trip to the Western Conference finals in their inaugural season. They stole game two from Winnipeg and now return home and will have the chance to take a commanding lead in the series with the next two to be played in Vegas. This postseason they average 2.8 goals per game. This is partially due to the fact that they swept the Los Angeles Kings in the first round and therefore have played a few less games. They have allowed 1.5 goals per game and are showing tremendous defending through their first two series. They are 4-1 at home this postseason, which is a good sign with a very good road team coming to town. Jonathan Marchessault has been the leading goal scorer throughout the playoffs, and leads his team with 6 goals. In order to win tonight, Vegas must slow down a potent Winnipeg offense and keep them from scoring their average.

Vegas Golden Knights

(2-0-1) SU in their last three home games

(2-0-1) SU as the favorite in their last ten games

Winnipeg Jets

(3-0-1) SU in their last four away games

(3-0-1) SU as the underdog in their last ten games

Winnipeg seems to be the more aggressive team, while Vegas has tremendous defending and can counter. Having seen the scoring decrease after game one, the outcome will likely be UNDER.
